I am just about to head out the door on a date. But before I do I just want to tell you this. My jeans were in the laundry so on a whim I grabbed the Levi's size 7's I haven't gotten into before off of the shelf, just to see. I try them on every few weeks and haven't been able to get them buttoned. That is until tonight! They are on and they fit comfortably. A little snug in the butt and thighs at first because I had never worn them before, but stretching to fit me nicely! That is a huge milestone for me. I haven't been in 7's since 2002 or 2003. Now I'm really excited to go out. Maybe I'll be able to dance those last few stubborn pounds off my body! Hooray!

Inches lost so far.............27.7"
In case you haven't been paying attention my last measurements were taken on August 23rd and these were my last total was Inches lost so far............ 23.45"
OK, just so we are all clear on this. I have not really been losing any weight. People have recently been making comments on my shape. Once again, I have not really been losing any weight this past month. But, in the last month there has been a loss of 4.25 inches! I was shocked and just to make sure I wasn't kidding myself I measured each area 2 or 3 times. Ok, so I wish I hadn't lost any on the chest at this point. But to lose that much in the waist and across the belly is amazing!
Today I am going shopping for the dress I need for my brother's wedding. I am so excited! I tried on few the other day at Dillard's and was surprised at how nice the dresses were skimming the body and not clinging to my hips, butt or belly.
How may times does a diet have to be proven before people take it seriously? Never did I really think that my results would be this amazing. I am so thankful for my twin sister telling me about this program and getting me to send in an application for this challenge. It took me years to put on all of that weight and only about 6 months to lose it. I never would have believed that it could be done without hunger and excessive exercise programs.
On a side note, my hair is also curlier than it has been in awhile too. I don't know why that is, but I like it. That may or may not be due to the diet.

R3P2D17 on the calendar
Hi all! Well, I'm still hovering around the 130 mark. I think my body is changing some and my weight is holding. The reason I think that is because my shape/size was the conversation at work amongst a few co-workers. I heard from people who see me 5 days a week that I look really good. It really surprised me because like I said, these people see me almost every day, so to have them say something today was kind of strange. Then two separate patients came in for their follow-up appointments and hadn't seen me since June or July and they commented on how fantastic they thought I looked and wondered how much weight I had lost. I just said "oh, about 30" and left it at that.
It is such a huge encouragement when people notice the change and I know it's "ego" but it sure is a boost to keep up the good work and not let myself go ever again.

What day is it???
I don't even know what day to call this. Is it going to be R3P2D16 because I started on the first or R3P2D11 because I was planning on starting over? I have not missed one dose and am now only 3 pounds from my goal. I have been stuck at 130 for a few days now. I am fine with that. Even if I don't lose another pound I'm really ok. I feel great and look better than ever. I am dating and having fun. Life is good and my family is thrilled with my new healthier appearance.
I have found that whenever I need an outfit for a date or event I have a new excuse to run to TJMaxx or Marshalls or hit a sale somewhere. I am not buying a whole new wardrobe at this time. Just on a need basis. I had bought 3 new pair of jeans at my last round and they are all too big in the waist and get loose in the butt as soon as I wear them. What a nice problem to have!

R3P2D8
This past week has really been difficult for me. I am actually starting over due to missed injections and feeling hungry. i also haven't been feeling well. Found out is was pre-TOM. I don't usually cramp but had the worst cramps ever! I will do a mini-load tonight. Tomorrow I will do VLCD again and hope I can control things better. I haven't gained and I haven't lost because I haven't been eating mass quantities but I also haven't been able to stay on protocol. I apologize to anyone who is in my corner for the disappointment, but now I will be back on track and ready to lose those last few pounds.

R3P2D5
Well, I'm moving right along! I am down to 136.5, which means I lost all of my load weight and am now on Day #3 of VLCD. with 11.5 pounds to go. 6 weeks to the wedding. Things are going well, I had a little hunger the first VLCD day, but that day is in the past and things are getting better. It wasn't so much terrible hunger, just a little nagging hunger and a lot of boredom. I think that it's normal to want what you can't have and not want what you can have. That's why loading is hard and the first couple of VLCD days hold the most temptation.
Oh well, my weight loss is satisfactory and continues. That is what counts. I do need to drink more water and tea throughout the day. That would for sure help. Hopefully today I will have time to breathe!

R3P2D2
Well, after one day of loading I have gained exactly one pound. I am up to 137.9 this morning before heading to work. I think I'll stop at McDonalds for breakfast and pack meatloaf and mashed for lunch. Hopefully I will be able to load today during the day. I'll have to see what I can find for snacking on all day long.

R3P2D1
Good morning! Today is my first load day of my 3rd round. Before I start gorging myself with meatloaf and mashed potatos, fried eggs, cheese and such my weight this morning is 136.9. I was out late at the drive in we were eating junk food and drinking pop, two things I don't do much anymore. So that is why I am up 2.5 from my LIW. I just pretend my load started last night.
I decided not to go tubing down the river today. I think it would be too hard to load properly and it is so important to load right if I don't want to struggle with the transition into VLCD on Wednesday. Yesterday I bought and weighed out my fish. I still had some chicken frozen from the last time and today I will weigh out my sirloin. The scallops are already to go and this time I won't get shrimp unless I am craving something different. I have my lettuce, asparagus, spinach and tomatoes ready to grab and since I couldn't find the apples I wanted at the store I just bought strawberries to start with.
So I have just about 10 pounds to get to my goal and feel confident my goal will be reached this time around. I am excited to be so close to my goal and to have watched this transformation occur in my body. It boosts my confidence and makes it easier to do things. I can cross my legs at the knee again instead of at the ankle.
In October my twin will be down for my brother's wedding. It will be nice to stand side by side and know that we both look good and healthy at the same time as each other for the first time in almost 20 years. Maybe we should dress alike for the wedding and see if people can tell us apart. Now that would be fun!
