VLCD #2

Today will be my second day of eating "light". This morning I kind of dreaded getting on the scale because I didn't "feel" like I'd lost anything. Well, I did! I weighed exactly 154.7. I saw the number and I was so disappointed and wrote my blog saying I would figure out what caused me to not lose. I had to return and edit this because I realized I had transposed (in my mind) the 4 and the 7! I am smiling from ear to ear right now! I ran back to the scale and re-weighed to make sure I was right! WOO HOO! 2.7 pounds gone!

I have felt minor hunger, but not the kind that drives me crazy. I get really crabby if I get too hungry (just ask my kids). I haven't gotten remotely close to that yet and am hopeful that I won't. I think I did very well on VLCD #1. I stayed under my 500 calorie limit even with temptation all around. All of the party leftovers are at work so I see and smell them in the break room.

I can't wait to tell my sister my results for the morning and find out how she and my friend at work did. We are all doing this together and started on the same day so we can be a "team" and encourage each other with support and tips for success.

I'm jealous! I ONLY lost 1.6 lbs. Haha. My first 2 rounds I lost and average of .8 lbs per day. Some days more, some days less. I like more better! I'm glad for you! Just remember days like these when you have less than stellar weight loss mornings! That is what keeps you going.
